My inspiration for this piece, was to make a human body being overtaken by nature. We take nature for granted so much and it´s time that nature fought back!

the process that i used for this piece was that first i made a pinch pot for the body, then made the neck where the head should connect, but instead put a flower growing out of it. then in the chest, i opened it up and made a tree stump on the inside with vines coming out of it toward the outside of the chest. 

And lastly, i made two holes on either side of the shoulders to place small real plants after its fired.
